Every living being and every living church has a PULSE. It is an indication of health. PULSE is an assessment tool that was created by the Evangelical Covenant Church and is being used by many RCA churches. The purpose of PULSE is to help us confront our current reality with truth and grace, so that we can take our next steps in becoming a healthy missional church. By “healthy” we mean pursuing Christ. By “missional” we mean pursuing Christ’s priorities in the world. Congregations can participate in PULSE year after year to discern how the Holy Spirit is moving.
